Fiberglass Grating Project Information:
A new United States Post Office was being constructed in Kake Alaska that required a wheelchair ramp, with stairs, for access. American Grating designed a support structure using an 8" x 2 3/16" x 3/8” FRP Channel. The ramp & stair decking is American Grating’s 1 1/2” deep x 3/4” Mini Mesh Molded FRP Grating. The Guardrail is American Grating’s 2” Square Tube used for posts and top rail, with 1 1/2’ Round Tube used for the vertical pieces giving it a picket fence appearance. The Guardrail also included an interior handrail for easier grip placement.
