Fiberglass Grating Project Information:
Kau Sai Chau, the premiere and only public golf course in Hong Kong boasts private club-style amenities including 3 separate courses, first class facilities including driving ranges, a 3,000 square foot Pro Shop with repair facilities, a Bag Store and Golf Instruction Services, alongside first-class dining facilities. The Jockey Club Sau Sai Chau Public Golf Course Ltd. converted a barren, fire degraded artillery range of an island into the scenic Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Club it is today with significantly increased bio-diversity and abundant habitats, offering its patrons breathtaking views. Committed to offering the best experience, Kau Sai Chai wanted to upgrade their badly degraded wooden walk path at the 18th tee of the North Course with something more durable, more aesthetically pleasing, more ecologically friendly and with improved safety for the golfer. Kau Sai Chai contacted American Grating’s representative in Hong Kong, Tak Ho Engineering Limited.
Tak Ho visited the site of the existing walkway, took field measurements, shot elevations and worked with American Grating’s Engineering Team to develop the best solutions for each particular challenging section. Tak Ho also had the construction capabilities to remove the existing walkway and install the new system. This turnkey approach is always welcome by owners. The Client representative, Mr. Mike Carey, KSC-HGO was very pleased with the on-time completion and the overall performance by both American Grating and Tak Ho Limited.
